About the Brewery
Sanyo Hai Shuzo, established in 1837 in Shiso City, Hyogo, is known for its brand “Banshu Ikkon.” Rooted in the terroir of the Banshu region, it uses Hyogo-origin sake rice and pure water from the Hyounosen mountain range. Under the leadership of Yuichi Tsubosaka, both successor and toji, the brewery pursues quality without compromise, aiming to create food-friendly sake with rich umami and a clean finish. Its sake is designed to complement everyday meals, embodying the essence of “a cup of Banshu.”
