About the Brewery

Tamba Wine has pursued local wines that go well with Tamba ingredients, including Kyoto cuisine, and has worked hard to create wines that are loved as part of food culture. Since our founding in 1979, we have been brewing wine based on this philosophy and have received high praise in international contests. Our main products include ``Tamba Torii No Pinot Noir'' and ``Pinot Blanc,'' and we have our own 6-hectare farm and two contracted farms in Kyoto Prefecture. Tamba Wine values ​​conveying the rich climate of Kyotanba Town and Japanese food culture through wine. Inheriting the founder Tetsuo Kuroi's idea of ​​``creating wine that matches Kyoto's food culture'', we continue to create wine that goes well with Japanese food, by reducing environmental impact and inventing new ideas.
