About the Brewery
Chateau Katsunuma is a long-established winery that has been making wine for 140 years in Katsunuma Town. The company's history dates back to 1877, when founder Yozaburo Imamura began producing wine in Katsunuma, Japan's oldest grape-growing region with large temperature differences. The ``commitment'' of doing everything by hand, from growing grapes to brewing and selling them, has been passed down to this day along with the tradition of French brewing. Chateau Katsunuma's wines are supported by a passion for the taste and aroma of wine, and a thorough pursuit of the materials and manufacturing methods that support them.
