About the Brewery
DHC Sake Brewery was founded in Niigata Prefecture in 1907 as Oguro Sake Brewery and began brewing sake. In the early Showa period, production increased by changing from wooden barrels to enamel tanks and selling bottled sake, and the factory continued to operate even during the war. A new factory was completed in 1960, and the ``Koshino Umeri'' brand was launched in 1981. Since the beginning of the Heisei era, we have strived to improve quality by winning the highest award and receiving organic JAS certification. Additionally, in 2009, we launched ``Kasan,'' and are currently partnering with the DHC Group.
