About the Brewery
Niida Honke, founded in 1711, is a brewery in Koriyama, Fukushima, dedicated to protecting rice fields and water. Using only naturally cultivated rice grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers and pure natural water, the brewery now produces all its sake using natural rice and kimoto methods. Led by Yasuhiko Niida, who also serves as toji, the brewery embraces fermentation-driven craftsmanship. Its flagship brand “Niida Shizenshu” reflects a commitment to sustainability and harmony with nature and the local community.
