Tenryohai Shuzo

Tenryohai Shuzo traces its origins to Takahashi Shuzo, founded in the Edo period, and Shibata Shuzo, founded in the Meiji era. After several transitions, the brewery took its current form, with Senichi Kato assuming management in 2018. The following year, he launched the new brand “Uragashiro” and became a kuramoto-toji, leading brewing operations directly. With the philosophy of “brewing smiles,” the brewery prioritizes quality above all, continuously evolving through unique, batch-by-batch experimentation while consistently striving for excellence beyond trends.
