About the Brewery
Yoshinogawa was founded in the 17th year of Tenbun during the Sengoku period, and has continued to brew Echigo's finest sake for 470 years. While preserving this tradition, we have always continued to take on new challenges. Rooted in the town of Settaya, Nagaoka, they brew sake using underground water from the Shinano River. Yoshinogawa continues to adhere to a circular method of making sake using rice grown in Niigata by the brewers themselves. By incorporating young energy and new ideas, we are constantly evolving and taking on challenges for the future.
