About the Brewery
Sakurai Sake Brewery was founded in Minamisatsuma City, Kagoshima Prefecture, and is a brewery that continues to make traditional shochu. We use carefully selected local sweet potatoes and pure water to produce shochu using the traditional method of brewing in jars. This shochu is characterized by its rich aroma and deep flavor, and is loved by many shochu lovers. In addition, we maintain a policy of small-volume production and place quality as our top priority. We are a brewery that creates shochu that combines tradition and innovation while respecting the local nature and culture.
