Akita Meijo Co., Ltd. is a sake brewing company founded in Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture in 1922, and has spread the brand ``Bishu Ranman'' throughout the country. Akita is known as the ``Land of Sake,'' blessed with high-quality sake rice and abundant water sources, and Yuzawa City is also known as the ``Nada of Tohoku'' and is a region where sake production is thriving. Akita Meijo was established from the beginning as an innovative sake brewery equipped with modern equipment and a production capacity of 10,000 koku.
Currently, Akita Meijo has two breweries, ``Ogatsugura'' and ``Mitakegura,'' producing sake that incorporates automation while preserving traditional techniques. ``Bishu Ranman'' is known throughout the country as a famous sake that continues to be loved by locals and is a product of Akita's climate and craftsmanship.
