About the Brewery
Nakaizu Winery began experimental grape cultivation in 1995, and began full-scale wine production and sales in 2000. Based in our own vineyard at an altitude of just under 300 meters in the center of the Izu Peninsula, we are passionate about winemaking with the concept of "high-quality wine from good grapes."
Currently, they harvest about 60 tons of grapes a year from their own 10 hectares of vineyards and about 1.5 hectares of contracted vineyards in Yamanashi Prefecture, producing and selling 150,000 bottles of wine. We take advantage of the rich natural environment and offer high-quality wines that are tied to the local area.
