Goichi Wine

Goichi Wine's founder, Mr. Goichi Hayashi, began cultivating fruit trees in Kikyogahara, Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture in 1911, and has been producing wine since 1919. In 1951, they succeeded in growing Merlot for the first time in the prefecture, and have been producing a wide variety of wines with the belief that "good wine comes from growing good grapes." We use grapes grown on our own farms and contract farmers, and our wines, including Merlot and Chardonnay, have received high praise both domestically and internationally. We have been certified as ``GI Nagano'' and ``GI Nagano Premium'' and pursue wine making that takes advantage of the local nature.
