Ōike

Oike Winery is located in a woodland located at an altitude of approximately 700 meters in Yamagata Village, Shinshu, and delivers wines with rich natural flavors. At our own vineyard in the village, we use environmentally friendly cultivation methods to grow healthy, naturally delicious grapes. Yamagata Village is a region where agriculture and daily life are in deep harmony, with fresh vegetables lined up at the local farm market, and a culture of appreciating nature's blessings taking root. Winemaking began in 2011 when we took over the Yama Sauvignon vineyard, and in 2015 we were certified as a Shinshu Yamagata Wine Special Zone and opened a winery. In February 2023, Mr. Kazutoshi Kobayashi took over the brewing and made a new start as the new Oike Winery.
