Nōmien Kasai

Nominen Kasai Winery is a winery that has been producing rich wine using traditional methods since its founding in 1918. Large quantities of grapes are processed using modern machinery, but small quantities of grapes are processed by hand, using the same tools used at the time of the company's founding. In the past, the area was known as Nokenen, where grapes were cultivated and wine was brewed together with local people. Currently, we use high-quality grapes harvested in Takeda Village at the foot of Mt. Yatsugatake, and the brand name "Mont.8" comes from Yatsugatake.
