About the Brewery
Tomi no Oka Winery takes advantage of the favorable climate and rich natural features suitable for grape cultivation, and conducts everything from soil preparation to cultivation, brewing, and bottling in its vast in-house fields. We offer a variety of ways for visitors to enjoy themselves, including tours, seminars, and a wine shop where you can experience the details of wine making. Its history began in 1909 with Tomi Farm, which was opened by Shinsuke Koyama, a railway councilor. Since then, the company has continued to strive for high-quality wine production, introducing European varieties and establishing a research institute. Even today, we aim to bring wine grown in Tomi no Oka's blessed natural environment to the Japanese dining table.
