About the Brewery

As a Yamanashi SDGs-promoting company, Komazono Vineyard is a winery that takes the natural environment into consideration and produces wine that is rooted in the region. The company was founded in 1952 as Gomi Kaju Kogyo Co., Ltd. in Enyama, Koshu City, and changed its name to its current name in 2019. ``Komaen'' originates from our own vineyard, and we have continued to uphold the philosophy of ``making wine in harmony with nature'' since our founding. Using 100% grapes from Yamanashi Prefecture, we grow Koshu and European varieties on our own farmland at an altitude of 280m to 620m, producing approximately 35,000 bottles of wine a year.
