About the Brewery
MGVs Winery is a winery that challenges the world as a specialist in Japan's unique wine grape varieties, "Koshu" and "Muscat Bailey A." Strict vineyard management focuses on growing small, floreted grapes, and a unique cultivation method that uses green umbrellas to prevent acid loss.
The winery was created by renovating a former semiconductor processing factory. Located in Riverside, the facility uses nitrogen and carbon dioxide from the semiconductor manufacturing era to make wine while preventing oxidation. In addition, the clean room is used for fermentation and bottling, and our unique equipment ensures thorough quality control.
Seiichi Sodeyama, the brewer with over 40 years of experience, creates wines that bring out the individuality of grapes to the fullest, pursuing winemaking that combines innovative technology and tradition.
