About the Brewery
Hokkaido Wine was founded in 1974 with the promise of becoming an indispensable presence in Hokkaido. Together with contract farmers and artisans, we cultivate grapes and make wine with the belief that we support local agriculture. In order to bring out the quality of grapes as agricultural crops, Tsurunuma Winery cultivates approximately 40 types of grapes using detailed techniques and knowledge. We are also experimenting with AI and smart agriculture to promote wine production that takes advantage of regional characteristics. In addition, we are particular about the "raw wine" manufacturing method, which allows us to preserve the flavor of the grapes without heating them.
