About the Brewery

DUE PUNTI means "two points" in Italian, and represents the two guidelines in winemaking: "quality comes first" and "with a broad perspective." Based on this philosophy, we aim to produce high-quality wines that you would want to drink yourself.
The founder became interested in wine after encountering the sweet sparkling wine "Asti", and after gaining experience as a wine shopper, importer, and sommelier, his passion for winemaking grew and he decided to express it with his own hands. Determination. When searching for land, which is the foundation of our business, we searched for a cool climate and a south-facing slope, and found the ideal farmland in Hokuto City. With advice from the local agricultural committee and local producers, we established a farm here.
Hokuto City has a cool climate with cumulative temperatures suitable for wine production, and is characterized by its black soil and clay subsoil. Kuroboku soil has excellent water drainage and water retention, is fluffy and easy to till, and is widely used in Japanese agriculture, but is rare in wine grape cultivation. There are great expectations for what kind of grape and wine flavors this unique soil and climate will bring.
