Naeba

Naeba Sake Brewery was founded in 1907 in Tsunan Town, Nakauonuma District, Niigata Prefecture, and is a local sake brewery that has been popular in the Uonuma region for over 100 years. Tsunan Town is one of the heaviest snowfall areas in Japan, and in 2022, it recorded a snowfall of 4m19cm for the first time in recorded history. We use the famous water of Ryugakubo and the clear underground water of Mt. Naeba, which are nurtured in this harsh natural environment, to brew sake using Gohyakumangoku sake rice produced in the prefecture. Using the traditional techniques of the Echigo chief brewer, we continue to brew sake that retains the flavor of the rice and that you won't get tired of drinking.
