Choshu Sake Brewery is a sake brewery established by business succession of Choshu Sangyo, headquartered in Sanyo-Onoda City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Choshu Sangyo is a manufacturer whose main business is solar power generation systems, and while searching for high-quality water needed for their business, they came across Kodama Sake Brewery in Kikugawa-cho, Shimonoseki City.

Kodama Sake Brewery was founded in 1871, and the brand name ``Nagato Kikugawa'' was loved by the locals, but the aging 6th generation president, Tsuyoshi Kodama, has long since stopped making sake, and now the sake brewery is being kept alive by selling purchased sake. It was. In order to preserve its tradition and culture, Choshu Sangyo decided to continue its business and began taking on challenges from other industries.

Construction of a new sake brewery was a new experience for us, but we worked hard and pooled our knowledge, and the new brewery was completed in December 2019. Choshu Sake Brewery, which has begun weaving a new history, is moving forward with the region while fusing tradition and innovation.
