Kikusui

Kikusui Sake Brewery is located in Iida, southern Shinshu, which is located between the Southern Alps and the Central Alps, overlooking the Tenryu River. This area is picturesque and is known as ``Sake brewery made from the nature of Shinshu.'' We use subterranean water from the Central Alps and rice suitable for sake brewing from Nagano Prefecture, and take advantage of the bitterly cold climate and traditional techniques to produce ``Seishu.'' We brew Kikusui. Established in 1945 by a joint effort of 37 sake brewers, the company currently holds various manufacturing licenses and also produces potato shochu, soba shochu, liqueurs, and ciders using locally produced ingredients. Using locally sourced ingredients, we pursue safe and secure sake brewing, and while responding to the changing times, we strive to improve quality and create well-loved sake.
