Momokawa

Momokawa is a sake brewery that was founded in 1889 and has continued to uphold the tradition of sake brewing. The chief brewer, Koetsu Koizumi, is a first-class sake brewing technician who joined Momokawa in 1974. After training at a brewing laboratory and registering with the Nanbu Brewery Association, he was appointed chief brewer in 2022. Since joining the company, he has focused on giving meaning to each process of sake brewing and improving quality. We place great importance on team harmony and put effort into training young people and holding study sessions. At Momokawa, we pursue high-quality sake while valuing teamwork based on our belief in "good Japanese sake."
