Shiratama Shuzo

Since its founding in 1904 (Meiji 37), Shiratama Jozo has been a locally loved brewery on the Osumi Peninsula, Japan’s southernmost part of the mainland, producing authentic shochu. Besides shochu, we have also produced liqueurs such as ponkan and plum liqueurs since 1953 (Showa 28). As a local company rooted in Daikonojo, the hometown of our current president, we manage the business prudently without seeking scale for its own sake.
