On Miyako Island, blessed with coral reefs, we have been making awamori for over seventy years.
Since our founding in 1948 (Showa 23) on the beautiful Okinawan island of Miyako, Taragawa has been dedicated to traditional craftsmanship and an unwavering commitment to koshu (aged awamori).
