About the Brewery

Amanokawa Sake Brewery is a shochu brewery that is particular about "normal pressure distillation" and "storage." Atmospheric distillation distills a wide variety of trace components in addition to water and alcohol. These ingredients give shochu a complex aroma and taste, bringing out the characteristics of the raw materials and creating a unique liquor quality. After distillation, shochu is stored to maintain the harmony of flavors, and as it ages, the harshness is suppressed, resulting in a mellow and stable taste. Through this manufacturing method, Amanokawa Sake Brewery continues to preserve the tradition of Iki shochu that has been passed down since the Edo period.
