Asahi Sake Brewery is a long-established shochu brewery founded in 1933, and has a representative brand, ``Yama Bijin.'' This brand is a pure rice shochu that is rare in Oita, and is characterized by a refreshing taste and a fine, mellow flavor. Shochu is prepared during the coldest season, using carefully selected raw materials and fermenting slowly at low temperatures. It is then carefully distilled and aged for even more time to create a rich flavor. We also produce barley shochu and offer a wide variety of products.
