Mincyou

Founded in 1922, Usa Sake Brewery was established as a branch of the former Tsushimaya Sake Brewery in Nakasuka, Yanagigaura Village. During the Pacific War, we supplied alcoholic beverages as a purveyor to the Usa Naval Air Corps, and have carved out a history that is closely connected to the region. The representative brand ``Mincyou'' comes from Horen, the priest of Usa Jingu Shrine, who was written in ``Shoku Nihonki.'' It was named after the legend that when Horen practiced medicine using alcohol, many people flooded in like a tide.
After the war, the brewery continued to supply sacred sake to Usa Jingu Shrine, and continues to brew sake while preserving tradition and history. It is a brewery that is loved by locals and has a brand rooted in history.
