About the Brewery
Amami Oshima Nishikawa Sake Brewery, headquartered in Tokunoshima, Kagoshima Prefecture, has been manufacturing and selling brown sugar shochu and liqueurs since its founding in 1990. Our main product, ``Shima no Napoleon,'' is made with pure brown sugar as the main ingredient and natural spring water. We also offer a variety of brands, including ``Tei'', which uses unprocessed sake that has been aged for over 5 years, and ``Sun Sun Umeshu,'' which is a plum wine based on brown sugar shochu, which is rare in Japan. Tokunoshima is part of the Amami archipelago, which has a strong unique culture, and is also known as the island of longevity. Its rich natural environment and historical background create brown sugar shochu that can only be tasted here.
