About the Brewery
Ozeki Co., Ltd. is a long-established sake brewery with a history of over 300 years, founded in 1711 by the first Osakaya Chobei in Imazu Village, Hyogo Prefecture. In 1764, the name of the sake was ``Manryo,'' and in 1884, the brand was changed to ``Ozeki,'' and the sake brewing continued to develop. In particular, ``One Cup Ozeki'' has been gaining popularity as a standard product in the sake industry since its release in 1964.
Currently, we have two breweries in Nishinomiya, Nada, Kotobukura and Kowagura, which combine tradition and the latest technology to produce high-quality sake. These breweries collaborate with Ozeki's comprehensive research institute to provide sake that is tailored to the times. ``Ozeki'' continues to spread its name as a brand loved both in Japan and abroad.
