Akita Liquor Manufacturing is a long-established sake brewery that was founded in Akita City in 1944.We are particular about using local Akita sake rice and water, and brew sake that takes advantage of the region's bounty. The signature brand ``Takashimizu'' is known as a local sake that reflects the climate of Akita, with a plump and soft taste. We maintain the traditional Yamauchi toji technique and achieve a unique flavor and texture through low-temperature, long-term fermentation.

Akita Sake Brewery has two breweries, the main brewery and the Goshonokura, and offers a wide variety of sake using the handcrafted techniques of skilled brewers and a production system that utilizes the latest technology. Based on the spirit of quality first, which is rooted in the region, "Takashimizu" is still loved by many drinkers and has spread its name throughout the country as a representative sake of Akita.
