About the Brewery
Jikuya Sake Brewery is a brewery located at the foot of Mt. Shio, a sacred mountain in northern Satsuma. Since its founding, it has continued to carefully produce shochu using Mt. Shio's rich underground water, seasonal Satsuma potatoes, and white koji. Using clear water pumped from 146 meters underground and satsuma potatoes that have been blessed with plenty of sunlight, the master brewer's master craftsmanship creates shochu with a unique flavor. At Jikuya Sake Brewery, we avoid mass production and offer unique shochu at reasonable prices while preserving traditional flavors. We value the natural flavors of nature and deliver shochu from the northern Satsuma region that is loved by many people.
