Bansei

Bansei Sake Brewery was founded in 1902 and is a brewery that has been making shochu for over a century with roots in Minami Satsuma, Kagoshima Prefecture. The company's shochu production continues to cherish the taste of good old authentic shochu, as something that should not change even in the ever-changing times. When Higashi Kaseda Village established its town system in 1925, the name of the place where the company was founded, ``Bansei'', was created by combining the ``man'' from the Mannose River, which is a symbol of the area, and the ``world'' from Kaseda. It is said that the name was given in hopes of ``eternal prosperity.'' As the name suggests, Bansei Sake Brewery aims to continue to provide delicious shochu with the same quality.
