About the Brewery
``Echigo Zakura Sake Brewery'' is a sake brewery located along National Route 49 near Hyoko Lake, which is known as a visiting place for swans. Founded in 1890 as Shirai Sake Brewery in Mizuhara Town (now Agano City), we began producing sake in a rich natural environment using local rice. In 1993, the company name was changed to "Koshi no Nippon Zakura Sake Brewery," and in 2009, the brewery was completely renovated and equipped with the latest equipment, making it possible to mass-produce Daiginjo. Currently, as Echigo Zakura Sake Brewery, we are brewing sake that pursues innovation while preserving tradition.
