Okuizumo Budouen

Okuizumo Vineyard produces wine in the rich natural environment of Unnan, the mythical land of Izumo. With a policy of "coexistence," we cultivate grapes carefully while protecting the ecosystem. In early spring, we take careful care of the grapes by lighting fires at night to protect them from frost damage. Although we produce only a small amount of approximately 50,000 bottles per year, we label each bottle by hand and put our passion into each bottle. We value our connections with the local community, such as by holding events to enjoy the harvest with local residents and drinkers. We also operate a shop that sells products that go well with wine, offering products that are filled with the producers' passion.
