Izutsu

Izutsu Wine is a winery that was founded in 1933 in Kikyogahara, Shinshu, and has been working with the region for over 90 years. It uses local specialty grapes such as Concord and Niagara grapes, and is characterized by a natural and approachable flavor that brings out the fruit flavors. New sake and antioxidant-free wine are not only considered local sake, but also highly acclaimed both domestically and internationally.

We have also focused on introducing European varieties, and in particular, Merlot from Kikyogahara has won awards at international wine fairs, leading this region to become a world-recognized wine region. In addition to wine, 100% Concord and Niagara fruit juices are also popular, and their natural flavors have gained a lot of support.
