Yamabe

Yamabe Winery is based in Yamabe, Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, and produces wine using 100% Matsumoto-grown grapes. Since our founding, we have not used bulk wine or concentrated fruit juice, instead using grapes grown on our own farms and with contract farmers. Grapes with acidity and richness suitable for wine are harvested in the fields spread out in the cool highlands of 650 to 780 meters above sea level. Since 2002, we have been brewing and selling wine at the foot of Matsumoto City's Utsukushigahara Plateau, working to produce high-quality wine that is rooted in the region.
