About the Brewery
Vino della Gatta SAKAKI is a winery born in Sakaki Town, Nagano Prefecture, and its representative, Atsuto Narisawa, is developing new initiatives to connect the local area and wine culture. Utilizing his experience as a sommelier, he founded the company with the idea that ``cultivating and brewing your own food will lead to a deeper understanding.'' We mainly cultivate cabernet sauvignon and merlot for black grapes, and early-harvest varieties for white grapes that are easy to avoid the risk of disease, and we strive to make wine that takes advantage of Sakaki Town's gravelly soil and climate.
We have a winery and restaurant in a prime location within walking distance from Sakaki Station, providing a space where you can fully enjoy food and wine. We also value our connections with the local community, such as by planning harvest festivals and events that are tied to the town's specialty, roses. With the theme of "bringing people together through wine," we aim to spread a chain of happiness through unique wines that express the land of Sakaki.
