Gaku Farm

Gaku Farm & Winery is a winery that has been certified by the Shinshu Matsumotodaira Wine Cider Special Zone and started its business in 2020 by obtaining a sake brewing license. We are working on grape cultivation that takes advantage of the climate and soil of this land and minimizes the use of pesticides. We utilize rainproof poly sheets and spray pesticides at the most effective timing, and in order to protect the diverse field environment, we do not use herbicides and only use high-quality, home-grown seedlings. Cultivated varieties include wine grapes such as Merlot and Chardonnay, as well as table grapes such as Shine Muscat. In brewing, we incorporate fermentation using wild yeasts, aiming to create attractive wines that bring out the characteristics of the land to the fullest.
