About the Brewery
Monde Sake Brewery is a historic winery based in Isawa-cho, Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, founded in 1952. It is characterized by wine making that emphasizes "balance", pursuing the harmony of aroma, acidity, body, and lingering finish. We make use of the unique grapes from all over Yamanashi to delicately bring out the characteristics of each region to create a wide variety of wines.
At our own farm, we carefully cultivate grape varieties adapted to different soils and climates, such as Isawa, Hosaka, and Makioka. Aiming to produce wine that reflects the climate of the region, we conduct consistent management from brewing to aging to sales. Factory tours and direct sales stores are also popular, and many people visit.
The origin of the company's name, "Mondo" (world/universe), reflects our desire to produce superior sake on a global scale. Based on our tradition and techniques, we continue to take on new challenges and continue to provide wines that convey the climate of Yamanashi.
