About the Brewery
In 1834, a sake brewing business was founded by Mr. Kaiei Kazama, and in 1986, Kai Winery was established based in the historic brewery. While valuing tradition and technology, we pursue the production of high-quality wine that matches the taste and food culture of modern Japanese people. The winery produces approximately 30,000 bottles a year, and is lined with buildings that are over 150 years old and have been designated as nationally registered tangible cultural properties.You can enjoy wine and local flavors at the attached cafe.
