Ikeda

Ikeda Winery is based in Katsunuma, Yamanashi Prefecture, the birthplace of Japanese wine, and was established in 1995 by winemaker Toshikazu Ikeda. Mr. Ikeda was attracted to the charm of wine when he was young, and after moving to Katsunuma and gaining experience, he set out on his own with the goal of producing wine with a focus on ``beautiful taste.'' Today, his passion and skills have been passed on to his eldest son, Hidetoshi Ikeda.

We continue to make wine with care and sincerity, making use of the traditions and climate of the region, aiming to connect the hearts of wine makers and drinkers through wine. It is loved by many people as a wine that embodies the charm of Katsunuma.
