About the Brewery
Nasu 661 Wine Hills was born as the first sustainable winery in the Nasu Highlands. With the aim of coexisting with Nasu's nature and utilizing local resources to "make wine with an eye to the future 100 years from now," we regenerate abandoned farmland and former villa sites and cultivate wine grapes and berries.
The vineyard, located at an altitude of approximately 550m, is blessed with a cool climate and a difference in temperature between day and night, and the wine, which uses the same underground water source as the Nasu Imperial Villa, is packed with the blessings of the land. We offer over 25 varieties of wine, including our mainstay red wine "Kamiza" and blueberry wine "Iwaza."
We also focus on sustainable initiatives, such as reusing Oya stone and local wood, to create a winery that is in harmony with nature. We are creating new value for your life with wine that delivers the blessings of the Nasu Highlands.
