Tendō

Tendo Wine is a winery based in Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture. We produce high-quality wine using locally grown grapes, making use of regional specialties. Since our founding, we have continued to make unique wines by taking advantage of Tendo City's blessed natural environment, making full use of time-consuming cultivation methods and traditional techniques. In particular, wines made using Chardonnay and Delaware grapes from Tendo go well with the local food culture and are highly praised both domestically and internationally. The winery also offers tours and tastings, introducing visitors to the local flavors and the charm of winemaking.
