About the Brewery
Shiwa Fruit Park Ltd. started brewing in 2005 with the aim of producing wine in Shiwa Town, Iwate Prefecture. Local grape growers take the lead in collaborating with high-quality grape cultivation, using exclusive varieties produced in Shiwa Town, such as Merlot and Riesling Glion. Our company, whose shareholders are farmers, advocates the style of "self-brewing" and uses grapes grown in Shiwa Town to brew at a winery within the town. In addition, we are working on making wine that takes advantage of high-quality grapes and the local climate, and now we are supported by many fans.
