YellowMagic

YellowMagicWinery is a winery that opened in Akayu, Nanyo City, Yamagata Prefecture on September 27, 2019, and is operated by the winery division of Global Agrinet Co., Ltd. Representative Mr. Iwatani chose Akayu, which is known for its production in Delaware, after gaining experience at Hitomi Winery in Shiga and Shimanouchi Fujimaru Brewing in Osaka. At the winery, we cultivate varieties for fresh consumption, such as hedge-grown Berry A and vinifera varieties, and trellis-grown Delaware, and we use contract-grown grapes with the aim of producing wines that have a flavor that hits your body. The name ``YellowMagicWinery'' means ``Yellow Magic Brewery,'' and the concept is to provide ``Japanese wine'' that resonates with the sensibilities of Asian and Japanese people and that they can be proud of being born locally.
