About the Brewery
Hiraizumi Winery is a winery run by local farmers at the foot of Mt.Takuine, which has a long history. Agri Hiraizumi, which operates the company, was established in 2006 as a corporation to support local agriculture, and in 2017 began brewing wine and cider based on the concept of "handmade wine made by farmers." "Ora", which means gold in Esperanto, also incorporates our feelings, and we offer "pure Hiraizumi-produced" wine that embodies the culture and climate of Hiraizumi for over 1,000 years. . From 2021, we will only use grapes grown on our own farm, and will be taking on the challenge of creating new wines rooted in the region.
