About the Brewery

TAKIZAWA Winery got its start in 2004 when founder Nobuo Takizawa began cultivating land in Mikasa City, Hokkaido. We strive to produce wine that coexists with the natural environment, minimizing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and utilizing wild yeast. The south-facing vineyards in Mikasa City are blessed with sunshine in the summer, and snow protects the vines in the harsh winters, creating an extremely favorable environment. The winery has equipment with an annual production capacity of 25,000 bottles, and fermentation and aging are carried out according to variety and style. At the shop, you can enjoy tastings while looking out at the fields, and we convey the charm of Hokkaido wine to visitors.
