Matsubara Nōen

At Matsubara Farm, we have been offering ``Matsubara Farm Müller-Thurgau'' using Müller-Thurgau grown in our own farm for 21 years since the farm opened. This farm, located at the foot of the Niseko Mountain Range, is the pioneer of a family-run wine brand in Hokkaido, and continues to produce wine that can be enjoyed as an everyday drink, with the aim of providing high-quality table wine at an affordable price. In 2014, they started producing their own wine, and are also working on trial production of the Matsubara Farm Wine Box, which can easily fit in the refrigerator, and Niagarasu Parkling Wine, which uses local fallow fields. Retail is mainly done within the town, but we also do mail-order sales nationwide. The founder was born in Kokura, Fukuoka Prefecture, and grew up in Hiroshima. After studying fermentation engineering and working at a sake brewing company, he moved to Hokkaido, settled in the Kamisato area of ​​Rankoshi-cho, and started growing grapes. With the theme of ``gentle and unique wines that go well with meals,'' we continue to make wines that are rooted in the region while valuing everyday agricultural work.
