Domaine Raison grows 12 varieties of grapes suitable for the cool climate in its own 40ha farm in the Furano area of ​​Hokkaido. Although it is difficult to grow grapes, especially German varieties, on Honshu, Furano's cool climate provides the grapes with strong acidity, and Domaine Raison's wines are characterized by their refreshing acidity. In order to bring out the individuality of the grapes to the fullest, we minimize human intervention and emphasize grape cultivation that utilizes the power of nature.
In addition, Domaine Raison's commitment is to approach each and every grape carefully in every step of the process in order to express the richness of the terroir. We produce unique wines from grapes grown in harmony with Furano's magnificent nature.
