About the Brewery
Osa Winery is a small winery founded by a couple in 2015. The two founders have gained experience in the restaurant industry and at a major wine maker, and have acquired qualifications such as sommelier and sake master, and have cultivated a passion for winemaking. After training at a local winery, he established a winery in Otaru, Hokkaido.
When it was first established, the winery was made using grapes purchased from farmers, but after receiving an ideal south-facing field from a local elderly couple, full-scale cultivation began in Otaru's only wine vineyard. At Osa Winery, we use healthy grapes that show the origin of the wine and carefully manage the wine by hand.
